"Confidant" is an insecticide of chemical origin that effectively destroys ants, cockroaches, flies, fleas, skin-eaters and other pests. It is produced in the form of an aqueous emulsion concentrate based on imidacloprid. The "Confidant" is used according to the instructions, in accordance with the dosages and personal safety rules described below.

Instructions for use

Based on the manufacturer's recommendations and feedback on the use of the product, you can draw up the following instructions:

1. The concentrate is diluted with water in accordance with the dosages indicated in the table. Water can be used ordinary, room temperature.
2. The resulting solution is thoroughly mixed.
3. The liquid is poured into a spray bottle.
4. Put on personal protective equipment.
5. Spray the drug onto the surface.
6. At the end of the treatment, the room is closed. Access to it in the next 10-12 hours is excluded.
7. A day later, it is necessary to remove the remnants of the drug with rags soaked in a 2% solution of baking soda with the addition of soap (a tablespoon of soap shavings per 1 liter of solution).
8. After that, the rags are thrown into a household rubbish bin, tied in plastic bags.

Security measures

In order not to harm your health, when processing, you must adhere to the following rules:

• Dilution of the solution and its spraying on household surfaces must be carried out only in protective equipment - a dressing gown, scarf, gloves, and a respirator.
• Processing is carried out only with open windows, in the complete absence of people, animals, including aquarium fish, and indoor plants.
• During the procedure, it is forbidden to eat, drink, speak, smoke and be distracted by foreign objects.
• After processing, the clothes are washed, and the room is ventilated for at least an hour.
• After 10 hours, it is necessary to clean the surfaces with a soap and soda solution.
• The premises can be used no earlier than 3 hours after this treatment.

In case of drug poisoning, characteristic symptoms may occur - weakness, nausea, headache, profuse saliva, abdominal pain, etc. The first measures of help are as follows:

1. The person must be immediately taken out of the room onto the street, removed from his outer clothing and allowed to rinse his mouth. To do this, you can use plain water or a 2% baking soda solution.
2. After that, he is given 10 tablets of activated carbon, which must be washed down with plenty of water.
3. If the chemical comes into contact with the skin, first wipe off the drops with a clean cloth or cotton wool. Then the surface is washed with soap for 4–5 minutes.
4. If the solution gets into the eyes, rinse them under running water (you can also use a weak solution of soda).
5. If the extraneous sensations persist, the victim should seek medical attention as soon as possible.

"Confidant" has established itself as a fairly effective remedy against synanthropic insects. Therefore, it is used both for domestic purposes by individuals and for processing several premises at once by specialized companies.
