Tomato Big Mom has been selected for growing in greenhouse conditions, but according to gardeners, in the southern regions it develops well under the sky.

A gardener will need knowledge of several subtleties when working with this variety:

• seed material before planting must be treated with a solution of potassium permanganate or other disinfecting composition;
• furrow depth - up to 20 mm;
• the optimal time for sowing seeds in seedling containers is the beginning of March. Seeds sprout quickly and amicably. The moment of diving and seating in separate cups comes quickly;
• humidification is permissible only early in the morning or in the hours before sunset.The sun's rays will cause a burn if it hits the wet surface of the foliage, so watering is necessary only at the root. The best option is a drip irrigation system;
• when the seedlings reach a height of 250-300 mm, it is time to plant the plants in the greenhouse. The soil is prepared in advance by adding river sand and humus to the sod land in equal proportions;

• for feeding at the stage of growing seedlings are used nitrogen fertilizers or organic. Before flowering and during the beginning of the filling of the first ovary, 2 and 3 feeding are carried out. During this period, balanced ready-made complex fertilizers of the potash-phosphorus series are used;
• 2 trunks are formed and at least 1 time in 7-8 days the tomatoes are pinned. Important: it is not recommended to remove stepchildren longer than 40 mm, such care is more likely to harm the tomatoes;
• the minimum size between the bushes is 400 mm, in such conditions the plants will be normally ventilated and receive a sufficient amount of light;
